The Sheppard Consulting team requested my assistance in building a new website after their original site was hacked.
They needed a swift solution, and I was able to revive their online presence using WordPress.
The primary goal was to get the website operational quickly so they could effectively market it to their target audience.
The Challenge & Constraint
The challenge for me with this site, was learning how to use WordPress. It was a tool I used sparsely some years ago, but never to the extend of creating a fully marketable site.
The Approach
My goal was to ensure that the new website met all the requirements set by the Sheppard Consulting team, with a primary focus on enhancing security to prevent future hacks. In addition to addressing these security concerns, I also dedicated significant effort to developing a design that was both clean and simple, yet engaging. Using the WordPress platform, I aimed to create a site that not only showcased the professionalism of Sheppard Consulting but also clearly articulated their goals and the range of services they offer. By balancing robust security with an appealing design, I intended to provide a functional and effective online presence that would resonate with their target audience and support their business objectives.
The Results
The completion of this project resulted in a marketing tool that the Sheppard Consulting team used to connect with leaders of non-profits, and potential business partners.
